There is an optional internship in the business undergraduate program. The internship program is important in terms of applying the knowledge students gain in their education to their professional lives. Internships are held in the months outside the academic year, starting from the seventh term, and internships are not counted as part of the course load.
Internship application is carried out within the framework of the rules in the Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Student Internship Directive. In this context, the purpose is mentioned in Article 2 of the Directive.
“In order to improve the employment and job opportunities of the students of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences after graduation;
a) To gain work experience to complement the theoretical knowledge and professional qualifications they have acquired in their courses,
b) To get to know the functions of the public and private sectors, and their organizational structures,
c) To have preliminary information in the process of choosing their interest areas of work after graduation,
d) To determine the general principles and rules regarding the internship they will do so that they can get to know the responsibilities, employee-employer relations, organizational structure and production systems in the workplaces they will work in after graduation.”
